About Land Action
Land Action assists social justice and environmental organizers with efforts to acquire land for purposes of community development, including housing, sustainable land use, and community-building events.
Land Action's goal includes promoting micro-farms to reclaim unused urban land to provide affordable housing, establish local sustainable farming, and further promoting community access through skill-shares, education, and events. Our network of community organizers has established two micro-farms to date, with another currently in construction in Oakland.
