In 2018, we will begin fortifying our vision in Oakland to work to achieve 100 micro-farms. With your financial seeds of support, we will nurture our community today, and continue to bear fruit for many generations to come.
These micro-farms will serve as demonstration gardens and community resources, helping spread knowledge on soil health, food cultivation, herbal medicine, beekeeping, and more, while also growing hundreds of tons of vegetables to be distributed locally. These sites also include tiny, energy efficient, self-sustaining dwellings, as a way to help keep talented farmers living locally.
